20th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition in Milan, Italy

With this event, we will continue the biomass specialist's role as the leading technical platform covering all aspects of biomass from research to industry and markets.
We also continue the industrial exhibition that brings biomass scientist and engineers together with the biomass industry.

18 June 2012 - 22 June 2012
Austria
The subjects of the 20th EU BC&E result from the experiences of the previous successful EU BC&E conferences. The subjects have been further developed and structured, and include the most recent scientific, technology, and market trends.
All biomass specialists are invited to contribute and to present innovative development, progress, and scientific results to the global biomass community and to submit their abstracts by 30 January 2012.
In addition to the Conference Programme, the 20th EU BC&E will present four thematic highlights with extremely strong industry relevance. These are ‘conference-in-conference’ events that focus on actual forefront ‘hot topics’ in the biomass sector:
• A parallel event on ‘Biogas upgrading and grid injection’
• A special industry show on ‘Biogas goes Europe’
• A further side event on ‘Biowaste to Energy’
• A forum on Bioenergy and Smart Grids
For many years now, the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EU BC&E) has combined a renowned international scientific conference with an industry exhibition, where new products and technical innovations from biomass are on show.
The EU BC&E is held at different venues throughout Europe, and ranks as one of the leading events specialized in biomass. It is supported by European and international organisations such as the European Commission, UNESCO – United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation – Natural Sciences Sector, Regione Lombardia, WCRE – World Council for Renewable Energy, the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA). The Technical Programme is coordinated by the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre.
