How to produce a winning proposal in Framework 7! Workshop in Hamburg, Germany
This workshop provides newcomers to the programme with a chance to learn the practical skills for developing a winning proposal. The form of the workshop means that although what is presented focuses on FP7 Cooperation projects, it will also be transferable to other types of programmes supporting inter-disciplinary research and is therefore particularly valuable for those starting out their research career.
The workshop will cover in a compact, but nevertheless practical form, the knowledge needed to prepare a proposal in the Cooperation Programme of FP7. The goal is to provide participants with a good understanding of:
How research funding programmes are formed
- the process involved in winning a contract
- what information, documents are essential and helpful
- how to organise the proposal preparation to make the process efficient
- how to build a strong consortium
- how to produce a convincing case
- submission and follow up.
The workshop is particularly suitable for those who are involved in the preparation of proposals of collaborative research projects and are not yet used to produce proposals like many young researchers. It will also be useful for enterprises which aim to participate in the cooperation programme of FP 7.
