Addressing challenges to healthcare and social security

The European Health Forum will meet in Gastein, Austria, from 6 to 9 October 1999 and will be subtitled "Creating a better future for health in Europe: Health and social security".
The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) met last year, for the first time, as a health policy conference, crossing the boundaries of the European Union and societal sectors. Leading international figures in healthcare gathered to discuss the evolution of the European health system in the twenty-first century.
The EHFG will now meet annually to bring people together and promote dialogue. This forthcoming meeting will be used to find "ways to create a better future for health in Europe" and to examine challenges in the area of health & social security.
