The ambitious objectives of future road mobility, i.e. fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and zero accidents, imply a paradigm shift in the concept of the car regarding its architecture, materials, and propulsion technology, and require an intelligent integration into the systems of transportation and power. ICT, components and smart systems have been essential for a multitude of recent innovations, and are expected to be key enabling technologies for the changes ahead, both inside the vehicle and at its interfaces for the exchange of data and power with the outside world.

Located in the noble neighborhood of Dahlem and close to numerous renowned academic institutions the prestigious Harnack House has been the favorite venue for international conferences and exclusive meetings of the scientific elite since the 1920ies.
Like in previous years, a book with peer-reviewed papers by AMAA 2012 participants will be published worldwide by Springer prior to the conference. Follow this link for the 2011 edition:
The annual AMAA conference is supplemented by an exhibition which offers companies and institutions a great opportunity to present their products, services or innovations to a highly specialised audience. The exhibition is an integral part of the conference and will be located in the get-together area in the conference foyer. Furthermore the parking lot in front of the Harnack House will be blocked for the presentation of demonstrators and prototype vehicles.
A room allotment has been blocked in the Harnack House’s Guest House for AMAA participants.
