11th International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems AAMAS 2012 will be held in Valencia, Spain
A multi-agent system (MAS) is a system composed of multiple interacting intelligent agents. Multi-agent systems can be used to solve problems that are difficult or impossible for an individual agent or a monolithic system to solve. Intelligence may include some methodic, functional, procedural or algorithmic search, find and processing approach.Topics where multi-agent systems research may deliver an appropriate approach include online trading, disaster response, and modelling social structures.
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners in all areas of agent technology and to provide a single, high-profile, internationally renowned forum for research in the theory and practice of autonomous agents and multiagent systems.
AMAS is the leading scientific conference for research in autonomous agents and multiagent systems. The AAMAS conference series was initiated in 2002 by merging three highly respected meetings: the International Conference on Multi-Agent Systems (ICMAS); the International Workshop on Agent Theories, Architectures, and Languages (ATAL); and the International Conference on Autonomous Agents (AA). The aim of the joint conference is to provide a single, high-profile, internationally respected archival forum for scientific research in the theory and practice of autonomous agents and multiagent systems.
AAMAS 2012 is the eleventh conference in the AAMAS series, following enormously successful previous conferences, and will be held at the Universitat Politècnica de València in Valencia, Spain, June 4-8, 2012. The full paper acceptance rate for AAMAS 2012 was 20%.
