Online Educa Berlin

Online Educa Berlin, the fifth international conference on technology-supported learning, is scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 November 1999 in Berlin under the patronage of Edelgard Bulmahn, German Minister for Education and Research.

The main topics to be reviewed at the event include:

- Designing and re-designing content and methodology for on-line delivery;
- Management of knowledge within the industrial sector;
- The flexible and virtual university;
- Innovation and excellence in the provision of open and flexible learning;
- SMEs and telematics-based learning;
- Telemedia language learning;
- Telemedia in developing countries and countries in transition.

The conference organisers, ICEF, anticipate that more than 1000 participants will attend. They are offering a special rate of DM 990 to anyone registering for the event before 30 June 1999
