2012 NEM Summit

European entrepreneurs (spin-offs from FP7 research projects, participating SMEs) seeking investment and willing to access European equity investors interested in their sector will present their business concepts to European investors during two pitching sessions.
The call for participation is open until September 26th.
The interested parties are now welcome to submit applications to be considered for the upcoming event.
Applications should be uploaded to the application platform by September 26, 2012
Please note that each application will be processed in full confidentiality.
Applications should ideally meet the following criteria. However submissions not meeting all criteria will not be disqualified:
- ICT and internet business models in the media sector (media content and/or media technology companies)
- Start-up companies with at least 100K€ previous financing already secured (grants included)
- Funded under FP 7 programme
- Searching European/international equity financier
- High internationalization potential
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit
Successful candidates will be offered:
- Free-of-charge registration to the mediatech European Investment Forum and NEM Summit in Istanbul as well roundtables with the experts and investors. Registration ticket will be sent along with notification of acceptance, no online registration required
- Free-of-charge online training consultation with a media coach – to review pitch and presentations
- Free-of-charge participation cost (travel and accommodation) under a certain ceiling
- The opportunity to pitch in front of European investors selected to fit to each company’s profile and need for investment
- A platform to extend their business network
