Water 99 - Sustainable management and quality of water

Water technology will be the main theme of 'Water 99', an event organised by the Innovation Relay Centre for South Germany, to take place on 11 and 12 November 1999 in Erfurt, Germany.

The event will be dedicated to three thematic areas:
- water as a natural resource;
- water and production integrated environmental protection and waste water treatment, and
- re-use of sludge.

Its aim is to present research and technology profiles and to highlight demand-oriented RTD with the goal of stimulating cooperation between universities and institutes.

The format will be based around individual presentations, forum discussions, individual meetings and a trade exhibition.
