The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts for the third open science meeting for the ELOISE project in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands, has now been extended to 7 August 1999.

The meeting, scheduled for 1 to 4 December 1999, will bring together researchers from the European land-ocean interaction studies (ELOISE) project cluster - the largest research effort of its kind in coastal zone science.

ELOISE is funded by the European Commission, through the Marine Sciences and Technologies (MAST) and Environment and Climate programmes, part of the Fourth Framework Programme (1994-98).
