The 1993 International Conference on Nuclear Waste Management and Environmental Remediation will take place in Prague on 5-11 September 1993.

The Conference, the fourth event in the series of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) biennial conferences on nuclear waste management will be jointly sponsored by the ASME and the Czech and Slovak Mechanical Engineering Society, and held in cooperation with the Commission of the European Communities, the International Atomic Energy Authority and the Federal Committee for Environment of the Czech and Slovak Federative Republics.

Technical sessions will take place on 6-8 September followed by a three-day course on "Radioactive Waste Management for Nuclear Power Reactors and other Facilities". A technical exhibition will run concurrently with the sessions.
