The specific programme of research and technological development in the field of industrial and materials technologies: Aeronautics research (1990-1994), will hold a second AERODAYS in Naples on 4-5 October 1993.

The main issues covered by the two-day event will be: Strategic aspects for European aeronautics (dealt with in a plenary workshop session); and, Community RTD projects in aeronautics, presented in parallel technical sessions and supported by an exhibition and poster display.

During the workshop an open discussion will take place, introduced by a panel of speakers, on subjects identified by a Technical Committee as being of primary importance and common interest for European aeronautics. Members of the audience will be invited to contribute their points of view.

A preliminary programme for the second AERODAYS will be issued early in 1993, followed by the full programme and registration form plus other general information.

The Aeronautics RTD programme, 1990-1994, was established by Council Decision 91/506/EEC (Official Journal 25.9.1991) with a total estimated appropriation of ECU 53 million, in the context of actions undertaken within Area III of the BRITE/EURAM 2 programme.
