Public Procurement for Innovative Solutions (PPI) opportunities in eHealth and active ageing – Info Day and PPI session

On 15 January 2013 the European Commission will hold an information day on Call 7 of the Competitiveness & Innovation Programme ICT Policy Support Programme (CIP ICT PSP). As part of a complementary information and networking workshop dedicated to Objectives 3.1 – 3.3 of the CIP ICT PSP on the afternoon of 15th January, a dedicated session on PPI objectives 3.2a and 3.2b will take place from 14.00-17.00.

Under the 2013 work program of the CIP ICT PSP, the European Commission is proposing to foresee: EUR 5 million for supporting one or more PPI projects in the ICT for active ageing domain, and EUR 5 million for one or more PPI projects in the ICT for health domain.
Procurers (public national/regional/local or private procurers) or public authorities that are in the capacity to mobilise its procurement bodies/agencies active with operational responsibility and budgetary authority on health and/or elderly care are targeted specifically for this event.
