Environment business meets the Internet

A preparatory round table on 'Disseminating valuable environmental business information between Asia and Europe: exploring new methods with the Internet' will be held in Berlin on 7 and 8 October 1999.
The event will provide an opportunity for European multipliers and experts to talk about the prospects conferred by new technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises in the environmental sector.
Amongst the speakers present will be representatives from the World Bank, the German government, the European Commission, and CORDIS. The event is being organised by the Regional Institute of Environmental Technology (RIET) and Intecus and it is also being co-financed by the Asia EcoBest Programme.
