The workshop will debate topics related to airship advanced research:
• High altitude hydrogen airship: the future of the green aeronautics
• Renewable Energy System for airships
• Cabins, Cargos, and Transfer systems: Docking in the Stratosphere
• MAAT control system
• Hydrogen in MAAT Project: Safety Measures
• Computer modeling and optimization methods in green air transport development
• ACHEON - thrust vectoring green propulsion system .
• CROP - Cycloidal Rotors for propulsion of future air-vehicles
• The Future of Air Transport – European Vision
The workshop is jointly organized with the MAAT-sister projects, namely CROP - Cycloidal Rotors for propulsion of future air-vehicles (http://cropproject.wordpress.com(opens in new window)) and ACHEON - Aerial Coanda High Efficiency Orienting-jet Nozzle (http://acheon.eu/(opens in new window)). The three projects are research breakthroughs and emerging technologies for radical new concepts in the air transport.
The workshop will be opened with a press conference aimed at informing about the challenges and the disruptive impact of these pioneering research projects.
The workshop will take place at the fairground of AERO Friedrichshafen 2013, Germany, Room Berlin, Conference Centre “East/Ost”.
