KORANET Closing Event and Policy Workshop in Brussels, Belgium.

More than four years ago the KORANET project was started as a response to a demand for improved and increased STI co-operation between Korea and Europe.

23 May 2013 - 24 May 2013
Austria
The KORANET Closing Event which is open to the public will review the project's achievements and discuss the challenges which had to be overcome. The lessons learned as well as current developments in both Korea and Europe will be used as a basis for a view ahead at the future design of EU-Korean cooperation and the main strategic priorities which have to be addressed.

We kindly invite you to participate in the KORANET Closing Event that will be held from 23 to 24 May 2013.

To view the programme of the Closing event and register please visit http://www.koranet.eu/en/238.php(opens in new window).

The KORANET Policy Workshop will take place one day prior to the Closing Event on 23 May 2013. The workshop will discuss how the strategies proposed by the KORANET Policy Paper and Joint Action Plan can be implemented by relevant European and Korean stakeholders.

The following three topics important for shaping the future cooperation will be addressed by the workshop:

EU-Korean reciprocity in R&D funding - mutual participation possibilities and access to funding instruments
EU-Korean Joint Calls Interest Group: continue a flexible multilateral EU-Korea funding scheme
Promote and strengthen institutional cooperation, increase mobility
