Why the ENVIMPACT conference?
Over the last years, the European Commission has invested significant resources in research on environment. However, the Central‐Eastern European (CEE) countries participate at low rate in the FP7 and their results did not reach , and influence, neither the policy maker of their country, or their academic or industrial counterparts in the EU‐15.
Enrich the European knowledge base with the relevant environmental ‐ related results, also of the CEE researchers, is crucial in leading to innovative solutions for the lasting protection of our environment.
To help improve the communication and dissemination of innovative and researcher practice and results for governmental, academic and industrial stakeholders, also towards the Horizon 2020 framework, the European Commission's DG Research & Innovation is supporting the Envimpact project and the Conference “ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH: Experiences on best practices towards Horizon 2020”
Why ENVIMPACT Project?
Envimpact project is an initiative funded by European Commission under FP7 with the objectives to improve the current communication of environmental research results deriving from Central‐Eastern European (CEE) countries, to enhance the uptake of research results and foster the participation of CEEC in EU‐funded research projects through S&T cooperation with other European partners.
