Concertation meeting for Integrated Applications for Digital Sites

The second meeting for project members in the field of integrated applications for digital sites (IADS) under the Telematics Applications programme will be held in Brussels on 11 and 12 October 1999.
The opening plenary will include a brief presentation from all projects, introducing participants in the other IADS projects. The intention is to assist in the identification of common issues for further small group discussions.
A number of parallel sessions will be held on themes participants have identified as relevant to the running of their projects. These include technology (multi-application smart cards and electronic signatures and common standards for Web-based services and kiosk applications), users (social and economic impact of applications and services on the regions and the management of user groups), and exploitation (IPR in a project consortium and business plans).
Experts from IADS projects and the wider R&D community will be on hand to guide discussions, and there will be opportunities to visit the CONCORD helpdesk and see demonstrations.
