Workshop: Getting Ready for Horizon 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark

Half-day Workshop about how to prepare for the next Framework Programme, Horizon 2020. This workshop will be held in English.

- experienced framework 7 advisors in Research Centres and in Universities.

Private consultants cannot attend the workshop.

Workshop content:
The course will focus on the following themes:
- From Framework 7 to Horizon 2020
- Proposed Structure and Research Priorities
- Links to Joint Programming
- Links to Public Procurement
- How to Lobby for Horizon 2020

Output:
The workshop will look into the process towards Horizon 2020 and see how to follow the development, how to monitor it and how to get ready for 2014 when the calls come.

Teaching method:
Presentations.

Course presenter:
Dr. Sean McCarthy has been involved in the European Framework programmes since the early 1980s. He has been involved as a researcher, research manager, and evaluator. Today he designs and delivers training courses on the Framework programme. Since 1997 over 36.000 participants have attended his courses in 29 countries.
