SAFECOMP '99 will be the eighteenth international conference on computer safety, reliability and security, which this year will be held in Toulouse, France from 27 to 29 September 1999.
Initiated by the European workshop on industrial computer systems (EWICS) in 1979, SAFECOMP is an annual event designed to review technology, experience and new trends in the areas of computer safety, reliability and security, focusing on critical computer applications. It is intended to act as the vehicle for technology transfer among academia, industry and research institutes.
Papers on all aspects of safe and secure computer systems are expected. Industrial sectors include, but are not restricted to medical devices, avionics, space industry, railway and road transportation, process industry, automotive industry, power plants and nuclear power plants.
