EPoSS General Assembly & Annual Forum 2013

The joint event is an excellent opportunity for the Smart Systems community to benefit from synergies in terms of
  • community building, networking and brokerage, as well as
  • opinion building and consolidation of a joint strategy towards Horizon 2020.
By co-locating the EPoSS Annual Forum with its industrial and applications driven character and its high percentage of participants from industry and the MNBS Workshop which traditionally attracts many representatives from research organisations, we achieve a perfect match of participants, covering the full value chain from education, through basic research, to successful product launch. This will further be supported by the opportunity to exhibit, present and discuss posters and demonstrators.
The motto of this year’s EPoSS Annual Forum and the respective Call for Presentations is “Geared up for Horizon 2020: Smart Systems Satisfying Societal Needs, Meeting Market Requirements & Exploiting Cross-Cutting Technologies”. You are invited to submit your presentation proposal by 31st July 2013.

Programme

Throughout the 3-day event, there will be a poster and demonstrator exhibition (see http://www.smart-systems-integration.org/annual_forum/posters-demonstrators(opens in new window)) that will illustrate Smart Systems projects, and showcase innovative products and technologies. A COWIN Marketplace will be organised on all three days, and attendees will have the opportunity of guided site visits of the facilities at Tyndall National Institute.
