Italian information days on the Fifth Framework Programme

Two information days entitled 'Research 2000: The Fifth RTD Framework Programme' will be held on 25 and 27 October in Naples and Bologna respectively, organised by CISAI, the Italian University Consortium in Brussels, in collaboration with the Commission's Research Directorate-General.

The event is intended to strengthen the relationship between the universities and European institutions, and is open to all Italian universities. Each Key Action of the Fifth Framework Programme will be presented by representatives of the European Commission, and advice will be given on evaluation criteria and Marie Curie Fellowships. The 'Craft' initiative for small and medium-sized enterprises will be outlined, and a presentation on how to benefit from the CORDIS service will also be given.

In the afternoons participants will be able to choose from parallel sessions devoted to each Key Action.
