In situ bioremediation techniques

Experts on bioremediation techniques will meet in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on 9 and 10 October 2000 to discuss how in situ techniques can be used to clean up sites polluted with chlorinated solvents and heavy metals.
The technological and economic feasibility of such techniques will be discussed at the meeting, which should provide a forum for knowledge exchange and an opportunity to meet research partners
The programme will also include a presentation of the results of an EU-funded demonstration project in this field.
