Trees for the Future: contributing to the green bio-economy

This meeting provides an excellent opportunity for active participation in the discussions amongst a broad spectrum of stakeholders on European research needs in contributing to a green bio-economy, and especially the important role of genetics and genomics. These are issues of strategic importance for the European forest-based sector, and the outcomes (research and policy recommendations) of the meeting will help to steer the activities the activities of the EU FP7 project Trees4Future (http://www.trees4future.eu/(opens in new window)). Meeting registration is free and open to all interested stakeholders.

Three sessions focus on:
- The European RTDI agendas for the green bio-economy
- From research to business – creating added value
- Contributing to the green bio-economy
