REDINN to deliver Horizon 2020 training in Turkey

REDINN has organized a workshop to be held in Istanbul on November 4th, to prepare all stakeholders involved in the launch of the Horizon 2020. Through lectures and practical exercises, this workshop will provide researchers and business managers with the comprehensive information that they will need, to manage the new European program Horizon 2020.
The training programme will:
a) provide background knowledge about the European research funding system;
b) train practical skills on how to develop a competitive proposal;
c) offer continuous coaching support with guidance towards project collaborations.
d) support Turkish participation in H2020 (ICT sector in particular).
The workshop will be run by Leonardo Piccinetti of REDINN - Senior Research and Innovation Advisor - who has extensive experience in management and writing of European projects for EC framework programmes, with a focus on International Research, Technological Development and Innovation and Science and Technology cooperation.
Horizon 2020 - Europe’s flagship initiatives aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness - will develop over the next seven years (2014/2020) with financial resources of over 70 billion Euros. It will also help to bridge the gap between research and the market by helping innovative enterprises develop their scientific and technological breakthroughs into viable products and services with real commercial potential.
