City of tomorrow and cultural heritage workshop

A workshop on the theme 'Good practice towards integration' is being organised by the City of the Future Inter-sectoral Platform, in cooperation with the European Commission's Research Directorate-General, in Brussels on 15 December 1999.
The workshop will provide feedback and lessons from the first call for proposals under the Key Action 'City of tomorrow and cultural heritage', whilst emphasising good practice. It should help those already engaged in preparing project proposals for the second call under the Key Action, which closes on 15 February 2000. It may also be of interest to those who are still considering preparing proposals.
The workshop will feature a round table discussion involving officials from several European Commission Directorates-General concerned with an integrated approach to urban sustainability, in particular those from the Research Directorate-General managing the Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development programme.
