‘TRIMM final conference’
The final conference of the TRIMM (Tomorrow’s Road and Infrastructure Monitoring and Management) project will take place in conjunction with the second meeting of ERPUG (European Road Profiler Users Group). The conference will be a mix of presentations from TRIMM and ERPUG, as well as a showcase of latest products and equipment related to roads and road infrastructure. The overall idea behind the TRIMM project, which draws to an end in November, is to map the needs for monitoring data and develop a means of cost-benefit analysis of monitoring techniques and utilisation in asset management. The TRIMM contribution to the conference will cover advances in the areas of monitoring of roads and bridges, together with implementation aspects such as indicator framework and the added-value of monitoring.
A get-together event during the conference will facilitate networking amongst researchers, manufacturers, companies and stakeholders. Registration for the overall event is free of charge however participation in the get-together event, dinner and exhibition costs EUR 150.
