Data: the New Currency? Conference

This event will look at challenges and opportunities linked to big data including its economic role, privacy concerns and the potential for developing innovative products and services.

Participants will include European Commissioner Neelie Kroes who will give a keynote speech, a number of MEPs, academia and representatives from telecoms operators. They will discuss regulatory and policy-making approaches, research options as well as the role of the private sector in this context.
