International software quality and Internet quality week 2000

The Quality Week annual conference has expended to a double conference, now offering sessions on both software and the Internet. Under the theme of 'New century, new beginnings', QW2000 will take place in San Francisco, USA, on 30 May to 2 June.

Internet quality is increasingly becoming an issue in the booming e-commerce industry. Event organisers claim the growing interest in Internet quality was evident at Quality Week Europe '99, held in Brussels, which prompted them to expand the scope and vision of the event for QW2000.

The mission of the conference is to increase the awareness of the importance of software quality and the methods used to achieve it. It seeks to promote software quality by providing technological education and opportunities for information and exchange of experience within the software community.
