Contributions invited for TII 2015 Singapore on Innovating Innovation

In 2015, TII will once again take its annual conference outside of Europe to one of the most dynamic innovation hotspots in the world – Singapore. Consistently ranked in the top ten most innovative countries, our programme will offer an opportunity to see first hand the initiatives, resources and experiments that have helped Singapore become best in class in the innovation leagues. The event is organised in association with Bio-Asia 2015 and hosted at A*STAR.

18 May 2015 - 22 May 2015
Singapore
Innovation is recognized as a key contributor to countries’ growth and competitiveness. Yet creating the environment for sustainable innovation that has economic and social impact is difficult and costly. At the TII 2015 conference we intend to take a fresh look at innovation – hence the title “Innovating Innovation” – to highlight new trends and developments which improve innovation outcomes for the benefit of science, business and society.

The TII annual conference brings together future-minded practitioners, researchers and thought leaders from the international R&I community, technology transfer and innovation management. The conference format includes presentations selected from a public call, inspiring keynote addresses and dynamic interactive sessions. It is also an excellent opportunity to get connected with people coming from different professional backgrounds and countries, from both the private and public sectors, who share the same passion for innovation and technology transfer. In addition to the excellent networking opportunities and a taste of local culture, we will also be offering a discovery mission to some of the host country’s innovation hotspots.

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

This year we are offering 3 consecutive daily tracks:

Day 1 – New Approaches to the Innovation Process: creative design of innovation itself for productivity and efficiency

Day 2 – New Ways to Monetize Innovation: redesigning links between innovation and commercialization

Day 3 – Innovating for Social Impact: innovation addressing social needs and bottom of the pyramid

With the aim of making the conference as interactive as possible, we will organize a number of plenary sessions with keynote speakers, parallel workshops and concurrent panel discussions. We therefore invite you to become involved, either to:
- chair a panel discussion
- participate as a discussant in a panel discussion
- chair a workshop
- prepare an input paper for one of the workshops
