Reduction of emissions from coal use

The European Commission is holding a European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) workshop on 'Reduction of emissions from coal utilisation' in Seville, Spain, on 30 and 31 March 2000.
The workshop, organised in collaboration with the Asociación de Investigación y Cooperación de Andalucía (AICIA) is being held to present the results of recent and current ECSC-funded research and development in this area. Most of the work to be reported has been carried out in the framework of international, collaborative projects involving industry and research organisations in several of the Member States of the European Union.
