Training Course 'Horizon 2020: Financial provisions, Management and reporting'

This course, which will take place in Rome, is the second of two modules of a training pathway entirely dedicated to the Horizon 2020 Programme. The first module (11-13 February 2015) will deal with techniques for successful project design, while this second module will treat project management, IPR and contractual aspects, financial provisions, reporting rules and principles. It is possible to attend both courses or only one of them.

The training course will cover the following topics:
o Introduction to Horizon 2020 and to its funding instruments
o The Grant Preparation Phase and the electronic signature of the Grant Agreement: the use of SIGMA
o Contents of the Grant Agreement
o Reporting obligations and payment modalities
o Financial provisions: reporting principles, direct costs (personnel, consumables, equipment, travel and subsistence costs, subcontracts, other direct costs), indirect costs, ineligible costs
o The participation of Third Parties in project activities
o Intellectual property and the new discipline of Open Access
o Cost certification requirements: procedures and required supporting documents
o Controls and sanctions.

The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of H2020 projects, both in the private and the public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to successfully design and manage projects, as well as to further develop their internal project management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and to share good practices.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN. Courses can also be offered in English on demand.

Dates: Wednesday 25th February 2015 (from 09:00 to 17:00); Thursday 26th February (from 09:00 to 17:00).

COURSE FEE FOR ATTENDANCE ONLY TO THIS SECOND MODULE (25-26 February): EUR 1000+VAT.
FEE FOR WHO WILL ATTEND BOTH MODULES (11-13 February 2015 and 25-26 February 2015): EUR 1800+VAT (i.e.: EUR 1200+VAT for the first module and EUR 600+VAT for this second module).
The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
