The fifth annual conference on the World Wide Web will take place in San Antonio, Texas, USA, from 30 October to 4 November 2000.

Organised by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and sponsored by WebNet Journal, the event will cover the use, applications and societal and legal aspects of the Internet in its broadest sense.

Major topics to be covered include: commercial, business, professional, community and educational applications; electronic publishing and digital libraries; ergonomic, interface, and cognitive issues; general Web tools and facilities; medical applications of the Web; personal applications and environments; societal issues, including legal, standards, and international issues; and Web technical facilities.
