Fit for Health 2.0 International Training for the exploitation of EU project results (focus on IP in health & biotechnology)

Fit for Health 2.0 supports researchers and especially SMEs for a successful participation in Horizon 2020 health-related projects. You are invited to participate in this international training for the exploitation of EU projects results - with special focus on IP in Health & Biotechnology. It will take place in Palermo (Italy) on 7 & 8 May 2015.

7 May 2015 - 8 May 2015
Italy
The strategic use and management of Intellectual Property (IP) – in business as well as in international research initiatives – is essential for strengthening the European scientific and technological base, boosting innovation and ensuring growth in the EU. In this context the new EU Framework Programme for Research & Innovation, Horizon 2020, places even more emphasis on systematic IP exploitation strategies as a means to better protect innovation initiatives and to reap commercial & economic benefits from EU-funded research.

Therefore this IP training event will address the overall topic of how to create value through professional management and exploitation of IP – with a special focus on IP in the field of biotechnology.

Following a very practical and comprehensive training approach, participants will be made familiar with central concepts and strategies of how to turn intellectual assets into value-creating innovations.

The event is free of charge. However, registration is mandatory. The deadline for registration is 24 April 2015.
The training is NOT open to consultants. The organisers of the training do not offer travel grants or any arrangements.
