Training Course: 'Management and Reporting of projects funded by the Structural Funds' (Rome, Italy)

The aim of this two-day course is to analyse in depth the rules and practices, at European and national level, for the management of projects funded by the Structural Funds, with a focus on European Territorial Cooperation Programmes. The course will focus on the new provisions for the ESIF funds in the period 2014-2020 and the possibile synergies with Horizon 2020, as well as on issues related to the reporting and to contractual aspects.

- The strategy for the 2014-2020 programming period of the Structural Funds
- ESIF Funds (European Structural and Investment Funds):
- European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
- European Social Fund (ESF)
- Cohesion Fund (CF)
- European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
- European Maritime & Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
- European Territorial Cooperation Programmes
- Differences and synergies between ESIF Funds and Horizon 2020
- Financial rules and practices of the Italian Managing Authorities
- Main Actors: Managing Authorities, beneficiaries, third parties (subcontractors and affiliated entities)
- Funding schemes: actual costs, unti costs, lump sums and rates
- Financial Reporting and audit procedures
- Administrative issues linked to the financial reporting of costs

The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and project managers involved in the management of projects funded by the Structural Funds and in the financial reporting. The course will help participants to effectively manage projects, with examples and practical suggestions to further develop their internal management strategies. It can also provide a useful opportunity for networking and sharing good practices.

Dates: Wednesday 22 April (from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.); Thursday 23 April (from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)

Course fee: EUR 1000+VAT. The fee includes tuition, full documentation (both in printed and electronic format), course certificate, coffee breaks and lunches.
