Training Course “Horizon 2020: Financial provisions, Management and reporting” (Milan, 25th-26th February 2014)

This course is the second of two modules of a training pathway entirely dedicated to the new Horizon 2020 Programme. The first module will deal with techniques for successful project design, while this second module will treat project management, IPR and contractual aspects, financial provisions, reporting rules and principles. It is possible to attend both courses or only one of them.

The training course will cover the following topics:
o Introduction to Horizon 2020: the programme’s architecture, similarities and differences with respect to FP7, the Participant Portal
o The new Funding Instruments: similarities and differences between H2020 and FP7
o The Grant Agreement and the rules for participation
o Reporting and payment modalities
o Financial provisions
o Direct costs: personnel, consumables, durables, travel and subsistence costs, subcontracts, other direct costs
o Indirect costs
o The participation of Third Parties in the project activities
o Intellectual property and the new regulations on Open Access
o Cost certification requirements: procedures and required supporting documents
o Controls and sanctions.

The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of H2020 projects, both in the private and the public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to successfully design and manage projects, as well as to further develop their internal project management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and to share good practices.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN. Courses can also be offered in English on demand.

Dates: Tuesday 25th February 2014 (from 09:00 to 17:00); Wednesday 26th February (from 09:00 to 17:00).

COURSE FEE FOR ATTENDANCE ONLY TO THIS SECOND MODULE (25th-26th February): € 1000+VAT.
FEE FOR WHO WILL ATTEND BOTH MODULES (4th-6th February 2014 and 25th-26th February 2014): € 1800+VAT (i.e.: € 1200+VAT for the first module and € 600+VAT for this second module).
The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
