Study and training conference on the Horizon 2020 Programme - 6th edition (Rome, 26th March 2014)
Consistently with the well-established tradition of the conference, broad room will be foreseen for debate and analysis of common solutions and strategies aiming to fully exploit the potential of Horizon with the precious advice of the invited experts. The fundamental objective will thus be to anticipate possible emerging questions over both the elaboration and management of projects funded by the new Programme as well as satisfying the demand for professional update of participants' project management competences.
The morning session will open with the analysis of the new financial regulations to be applied to claim personnel costs in Horizon projects and will continue with the presentation of the new features of the Auditing activities in Horizon. The afternoon session will be devoted to explain the new discipline for Open Access and IPR management and the management of ethical issues within H2020 projects. The conference will close with a presentation aimed at explaining the current European Commission organizational strategy aimed at assigning to external executive Agencies the task of implementing part of Horizon 2020.
The conference is organised under the auspices of the Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”.

THE CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD MAINLY IN ITALIAN.
Date: Wednesday, 26th March 2014 (from 09.15 to 17.30).
PARTICIPATION FEE: € 300. The fee includes the lunch on March 26th, but does not cover overnight and travel expenses: it will be up to single participants to organize their own stay.
