International Workshop “BioRaman”, 15-17th of May 2014, Warsaw,Poland

The applications of Raman Spectroscopy in various fields of materials science, biomedical, pharmaceutical, medical (diagnostic, in vivo) will be presented in detail through invited talks. The aim of the workshop is putting participants in the position to apply Raman spectroscopy in their own research. For the laboratory training, participants will be encouraged to bring their own samples for analysis.

The three day workshop will give an introduction to Raman spectroscopy. This will include the theoretical basics, practical training in the use of spectrometers, introduction to data reduction and an overview of applications in various fields of materials science, medical, pharmaceutical medical (diagnostic, in vivo) mineralogy, geology and other fields of sciences.
