UK workshop on EC research projects

'EC research projects - the inside story' will be the title of a workshop being held at the St John's Innovation Centre in Cambridge, part of the INNOVATION/SME programme's Innovation Relay Centre network on 30 March 2000.
The workshop will explain how European Commission-funded research projects really work - or fail. The multi-cultural, multi-organisational structure of these projects can sometimes present significant management problems that need to be addressed.
The one-day event is aimed at all who intend to participate in EC-funded RTD projects, in particular those who coordinate and manage the projects.
Paul Drath of Singleimage, a company providing advice and assistance to potential EC project proposers, will lead the workshop.
