Training Course “Horizon 2020: Financial provisions, Management and reporting” (Milan, 22-23 March 2016)

This course is the second of two modules of a training pathway entirely dedicated to the Horizon 2020 Programme. The first module (Milan, 17-19 February 2016) will deal with techniques for successful project design, while this second module (Milan, 22-23 March 2016) will treat project management, IPR and contractual aspects, financial provisions, reporting rules and principles. It is possible to attend both courses or only one of them.

22 March 2016 - 23 March 2016
Italy
The training course will cover the following topics:
o Introduction to Horizon 2020 and to its funding instruments
o The Grant Preparation Phase and the electronic signature of the Grant Agreement: the use of SyGMa
o Contents of the Grant Agreement
o Reporting obligations and payment modalities
o Financial provisions: reporting principles, direct costs (personnel, consumables, equipment, travel and subsistence costs, subcontracts, other direct costs), taking into account the interpretation recently given by the European Commission’s Legal Affairs on the ineligibility of some work contract typologies as personnel costs in H2020
o Indirect costs
o Ineligible costs
o The participation of Third Parties in project activities

The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of H2020 projects, both in the private and the public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to successfully design and manage projects, as well as to further develop their internal project management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and to share good practices.
