3rd International conference on transboundary pollution

Scientists from south-eastern Europe will converge at the 'Third international conference on transboundary pollution' in Bucharest, Romania, from 23 to 26 November 2000.
The event will provide participants with an opportunity to forge personal and collaborative links and strengthen scientific cooperation, helping to create better environmental conditions across the region.
A number of topics are proposed for discussion, including: environmental monitoring and control; air pollution and air management; water management, soil pollution, clean technologies - recycling; radioactivity; ecology; biology; risk assessment; environmental legislation; environmental education.
The organisers, from the Balkan environmental association (B.EN.A) are inviting the submission of abstracts for papers to be presented at the event.
