PAGES summer courses in proteome analysis

The PAGES summer courses in proteome analysis from 21 to 23 and 25 to 31 May 2000 will cover all aspects of proteome analysis right from various types of sample preparation, through cell fractionation, 2D gel electrophoresis (both narrow and broad range), analysis of membrane proteins, protein visualisation, image capture and analysis, mass spectrometry (MALDI and electrospray MS), to bioinformatics and data interpretation.
The courses, to be held in Odense, Denmark, are aimed at both academic and industrial participants. The organisers will draw on their experiences from earlier seminar tours to provide both introductory courses and courses for those wishing to build on their existing expertise.
The theoretical course costs 575 euro and the fee for both courses is 2,560 euro.
The number of places is limited to 300 for the theoretical course and 36 for the practical course.
The PAGES courses are run with the support of the European Commission's Quality of Life and management of Living resources programme, part of the Fifth Framework programme.
