How inclusive are business support organisations in Europe?
As part of the FIBIA programme (fibia.eu) delivered by EBN and supported by the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, business support organisations spread across Europe completed an extensive questionnaire assessing the level of accessibility and inclusion of the services they provide to under-represented entrepreneurs. After an in-depth analysis, we intend to present the results during a public press conference and wish to discuss areas where further work and improvements are needed.
Speakers will include representatives from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation who will provide further insight into the goals and objectives of their Small Business Forward initiative, as well as representatives from the European Commission who will position the programme within the current European inclusive policies and initiatives.
The event targets practitioners working in the business incubation field wishing to gain insight into more inclusive entrepreneurship practices as well as those already involved in the sector wishing to acquire benchmarks for the type of support provided at a European level, but also policymakers working towards the creation of more inclusive economies wishing to learn about some practical ways to make incubators and accelerators more inclusive. Lastly, anyone who has an interest in providing equal access to entrepreneurship tools to all groups in society is welcome!
