Key links at IT conference
The conference aims to cover a wide range of subjects including: e-commerce, virtual reality, software, smart cards, database, digital homes, image processing, computer graphics and animation, mobile communication, geographical information systems, electronic imaging and cultural heritage.
Supported by the Directorate-General for the Information Society, the conference is billed as the first IT trade conference between EU and Japanese and EU-based IT companies. It is seen as a good opportunity for both like-minded companies and research institutes from the different regions to form partnerships.
EuroGifu also offers companies and research institutes the opportunity to attend a coaching session in Brussels before the event, as well as use of the European Help Desk to plan individual schedules for the event. Participants can also attend pre-arranged business meetings with prospective Japanese partners and display their products during the event. In addition, the organisers have set up an on-line 'Showcase' where participants can exhibit their products both before and after the conference.
