The EU-funded FISRAD project will be organising the FISA and EURADWASTE conferences in Pitesti, Romania, on 4–7 June 2019.
4 June 2019 - 7 June 2019
The FISA 2019 and EURADWASTE ’19 conferences are co-organised by the European Commission, under the Euratom Programme FISRAD project, and the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council in 2019. Some 90 EU-funded projects will have the opportunity to present their progress and key achievements over the course of the 3-day event.
Detailed parallel sessions will provide a synthetic view of research and training policies, challenges and opportunities, implementation of programmes in both areas of reactor systems with emphasis on safety, and high-level radioactive waste disposal in Europe and at international level. FISA 2019 and EURADWASTE ’19 will also mark the launch of the first PhD Student Competition of the international Research and Training Community, the first Euratom Projects’ Poster Awards and an Open Call for R&D Topic Awards.
