IFEST technology partnering meetings

Companies and research institutions investigating solutions in the environment and energy sectors will be able to see eye to eye at the IFEST technology partnering meetings in Ghent, Belgium, on 26 and 27 October 2000

The meeting is billed as an international forum for exchange of technologies and business opportunities between the commercial and research worlds operating in these sectors. It also provides an excellent opportunity for partnerships to be formed.

Before the conference begins, companies and research centres are invited to fill in the 'cooperation profile'. Participants submit the details of their interest and what they have to offer and this information will be posted in a catalogue. This is then distributed internationally, with an online publication planned for May.

The individual meetings in October will be the result of coupling of technology interest/offers that have been drawn from the catalogue. The organisers are anticipating an offer involving around 100 companies. A notable proportion of the companies are expected to be from the Benelux area.
