Advanced vaccinology course

An advanced vaccinology course will be held in Annecy, France, from 22 May to 3 June 2000. This course targets those involved in decision-making related to vaccine development, the elaboration of new vaccination strategies and/or policy decisions related to the introduction of new vaccines into public health programmes. It is relevant to both the public and the private sector.
The course is organised by the Marcel Merieux Foundation with the co-sponsorship of the European Commission, the Bill & Melinda Gates Children's vaccine program, the World Health Organisation (WHO), the university of Geneva, the Centres for Diseases Control CDC (USA), the Johns Hopkins school of public health, the American national foundation for infectious diseases and the European vaccine manufacturers (EVM).
