RACE proposers day

In support of the upcoming RACE 2 call for proposals (planned for publication at the end of May 1993), a proposers day will be held for all interested parties in Brussels on 7 June 1993.
The purpose of the event is to provide further information concerning the call, and at the same time to permit potential partners to meet with each other. Arrangements will be made to facilitate informal exploratory discussions amongst the parties present, and as far as possible, to distribute the coordinates of the persons and organizations that have expressed interest.
The draft agenda comprises an introduction by DG XIII/B explaining the purpose of the proposers day and the context of the call for proposals, the implications for ongoing RACE 2 projects, and the concertation requirements in RACE.
These presentations will be followed by parallel sessions separating the general areas included in the call, enabling proposers to make individual introductions as to their aims and the particular skills they are seeking to add to their consortia.
