Putting results on ICE

The forthcoming ICE 2000 event (International conference on concurrent enterprising) aims give researchers a platform at which they can explain their findings in the area.
The event, which takes place in Toulouse on 28, 29 and 30 of June will begin by giving 36 presentations on the latest findings in the area on the first day, a series of eight workshops on the second day and the final day will see representatives of the European Commission in attendance, looking at how SMEs require the research and the dissemination of its results.
It is hoped that other than providing a showcase for the research results, partnerships can be struck at the event. The initiative is supported by both the Research and Information Society Directorates-General.
