The health of Europe's workers, both physical and mental, comes under the spotlight at the forthcoming TUTB-SALTSA conference in Brussels on 25 to 27 September 2000 entitled 'Working without limits? Re-organising work and reconsidering workers' health'.

The changing processes within the European workplace have been many and varied, such as the introduction of downsizing, globalisation, outsourcing and many others. All of these have taken their effect, particularly on workers' health.
As well as the four plenary sessions, there will be three workshops on road transport, health and hospital professions and the metal industry at the conference. A round table, consisting of representatives of the European Commission, the French Presidency of the European Council and the European Parliament, amonst others, will close the conference.
