Twelfth international chemical information conference

The 2000 international chemical information conference and exhibition will be held in Annecy, France, on 22 to 25 October, on the subject 'information in chemistry and chemical patents'.
The event is twelfth in a series which began in Montreux in 1989, and quickly established a reputation in the information community as being the specialist international meeting in this field. The past conferences each attracted around 200 participants from over eighteen different countries.
Delegates will have the opportunity to explore chemical information available via online systems and various software systems. Around 22 papers will be given covering chemical, biochemical, biotechnological, pharmaceutical and chemical patent information. Presentations will concentrate on practical aspects and practical solutions in the broad area of chemical information, with some papers on theoretical aspects.
A small exhibition will be held simultaneously with the conference.
